What are the colors of African Union (Old) flag?

The African Union (Old) flag has 4 primary colors, which are green, white, gold and red. The table below has the common and popular codes of these colors in HEX, RGB and CMYK formats along with Pantone (PMS), RAL and NCS (Natural Color System). Please note that HEX and RGB codes are to be used for digital works and web pages (including HTML and CSS) while the CMYK values are for printers.

The African Union, previously the Organisation of African Unity, was established in 1963 and disbanded in 2002. It was replaced by the African Union (AU). Its main aims was to promote harmony, economic and political integration amongst the states and to do away with colonialism the had plagued the continent of Africa and deprived it of its own resources.

The old flag of the Organisation of African Unity consists of green, gold and white stripes with the emblem of the organisation in the middle. The colors of the emblem have special meaning - Green symbolises peace, hope and aspiration of the organisation, gold representing wealth and bright future and red for the solidarity and the bloodshed during the liberation of the African continent.

This flag of the Organisation of Africa Unity was used from 1970 to 2002. And later on, the same flag was used for the African Union from 2004 to 2010. A newer and, some would say, simpler flag was adopted by the African Union in 2004.
